Live Like Eileen 5k

“Live like Eileen” means to live with kindness, loyalty, strength, compassion, humor, and to love unconditionally. In her too short time with us, Eileen exuded all of these qualities to everyone she met. Her beautiful smile and ocean-blue eyes captured the hearts of more people than many can do in a lifetime. Her spirit will live through us forever.

Eileen was a senior at Michigan studying Economics, planning to move to Chicago after graduation. She loved running (finishing the Ann Arbor half marathon in the fall of 2023), cooking, listening to her favorite podcasts through the Arb (It's Me, Tinx), hanging out with her friends and roommates, and making everyone around her laugh and smile. She was a light and an inspiration for everyone at the University of Michigan and beyond. Eileen passed away on January 27th, 2024 due to a tragic skiing accident. This 5K is in honor of Eileen and the things and people that she loved.
