We know you’ve been waiting a long time for this, and so have we. Please join us on September 20th for a release party to celebrate and support our first single!
...ON TAP is a student-led band based in Ann Arbor, made up of musicians from the University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theatre & Dance jazz program. Our debut single, pennies, is available now on Bandcamp and will be released on major streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) on September 20th. To celebrate, we’ll be hosting a release party at Canterbury House (721 East Huron Street), featuring a live performance and the premiere of our new single.
While our studies at SMTD often focus on established traditions like jazz and classical music, ON TAP gives us the chance to create and perform on our own terms. Our music blends contemporary styles with our training, offering a fresh space for artistic expression to play what we want, how we want to.
