Our award winning host, Americana singer-songwriter, Stuart Benbow has assembled another stellar group:
David Hinske is a Michigan-based singer-songwriter whose music blends introspective lyrics with acoustic-driven folk and Americana. Known for his warm, emotionally resonant performances, Hinske has built a reputation for thoughtful songwriting and melodic depth. His latest album, Buttons (released July 1, 2025), showcases a refined sound across 15 original tracks, following previous releases including Debris, Strays, and mmm. Engaging, heartfelt, and polished, his musicianship is fantastic.
Jacob Yanoch, who performs as a soloist and as part of a band, had a fantastic EP out, and is impressive in the depth of his writing. With equal parts of quirky fun, emotional power, and fun grooves, he’s definitely one to watch.
Cesar Aquino, who finished in the top 5 of the Michigan State Fair Superstar contest just two years ago, could sing an ingredient list and we’d listen. His soulful R&B vibe and easy comfort are a joy to experience.
