Understanding your nonprofit’s financial reports shouldn’t feel like solving a mystery. But for many organizations, confusing charts of accounts, inconsistent bookkeeping, and unclear financial statements make it hard to see the full picture. Clear, accurate financial data is essential for decision-making, board reporting, and organizational sustainability. That’s where bookkeeping comes in.
Join us for this interactive workshop, where NEW’s Financial Services team will walk you through the core components of nonprofit bookkeeping. You’ll learn how to build a chart of accounts, enter and categorize transactions, and create useful financial statements, all using QuickBooks as our demonstration tool. With better bookkeeping, your team can move from confusion to clarity and make smarter, mission-driven financial decisions.
This workshop is for nonprofit staff, board members, and volunteers who want to build confidence in reading, writing, and using financial reports, and are ready to bring transparency and insight to their organization’s finances.
