Casey's stage persona is equal parts James Brown, Elvis Presley, and Bono...but then comes the surprise, etched in cursive on the head of a pin. Listen closely, and the songs are beautiful, heartfelt, and wrenching." - MTV News
Casey Shea's work, both recorded and live, has been reviewed by Rolling Stone, Billboard, Paste, NME, MTV, CMJ, The LA Times and The New York Times, and his songs have set the scene in numerous network television shows and movies (One Tree Hill, Friends With Benefits, The Miss Universe Contest, The Gates, Peace Love and Misunderstanding, Mr. Rogers & Me, My Life As A Dead Girl, My Christmas Dream, and more.) His voice has been featured on everything from recordings with major label legends (Rod Stewart) and cult-favorite indie bands (Tally Hall, Wakey!Wakey!) to Netflix show themes (Fresh Fried, and Crispy) and national commercial spots (Toyota, T-Mobile, Lemonade).
