American Saxophone Academy

Join us for a concert of light classical and jazzy selections featuring student saxophone quartets from the American Saxophone Academy, followed by a roaring finale at 8:15pm of all 40 members of the Academy performing in a large saxophone choir on the lawn.

Now in its 13th year, the American Saxophone Academy provides an exceptional solo and chamber music experience for advanced saxophonists, including college and graduate students, and professional players. Hosted for the first time in Ann Arbor for 2025, this one-week program includes lessons, masterclasses, quartets and saxophone ensembles as well as professional networking with fellow concert saxophonists from around the world. The teaching faculty come from the top university music schools in the United States.
