Call it folk, Americana, or roots music, Zachary Jones Boyle presents his songs in a vulnerable, straight-forward solo performance on acoustic guitar. While some songs are strummed flat pick, most are finger-picked in a steady, signature contemplative style. ZJB's writing influences are artists like Bruce Springsteen, Townes Van Zandt, Leonard Cohen, and Tom Waits, traditional Celtic and American folk music, as well as myth and fairy tale, resulting in stories that dip deep into the psychic well and dredge up contents at the bottom like dreams.

Bobby Scharping is a folk singer and a member of The Root Tones from Lawrence, Kansas.
