Hear ye hear ye!
Townsfolk rejoice, for the Peoples Festival is nearly upon us!
Join us for our prelude event, an in-character day mod this July 5th at The Bernie Longson Memorial Pavilion at Fort Willow. This will be a day of feasting, frolicking, and games. In the world of Restharrow, the People's Festival is an event at the height of summer where the fallen are mysteriously absent. The Townsfolk gather to celebrate a day and night of freedom from the cares of the nightwatch and the terror of the deep woods. Once this was a time of nobles jousting and courtiers balls - not so since the spread of the Blight. The people have taken this festival for themselves.
This event will be tagless, meaning no tags are needed for resting or healing - all you need to do is roleplay enjoying the festival and you feel your spirits lifted. This is however still an in-game event, and still will feature some elements of play testing as we field our new and improved playguide:

Genre appropriate garb and gear is still required, though as this will be an OUTDOOR EVENT please remember to stay hydrated and bring sunscreen, water, and bug spray. There will be sheltered areas for resting and outhouses, but no indoor play space or running water at this event.
The events of this day mod will be considered canon to the alpha season, so mind your words and your deeds!
Please make sure you register in advance for the event! While we are an application-required game for our main season, you may attend this event without an approved player application in order to get a feel for the game. However, we do still strongly encourage you to submit a player application if you are intending on attending our main season. Additionally, should we meet our attendance cap, those with approved applications will be given priority.
