Ten Cent Howl manages to marry the influences of bluegrass, rockabilly, primal rock ’n’ roll and Pogues-like punk-folk with strength and vitality. They capture the essence of the Country/Americana genre in a heartfelt and genuine fashion, delivering a timeless sound filled with appealing melodies, passionate harmonies and storytelling that made me want to listen again and again. Johnny Cash and John Fogerty fans are likely to find something sonically here that they will like. this music has the sound of the country roads built right in for added measure.
