Welcome to the Lone Star Drift Round 3 description page!
For spectators:
This will be a relaxed weekend of drifting over 2 days, starting later in the afternoon at 2 pm and going until 8 pm. We will have some very cool guests, as well as tons of our amazing local drivers from around our region battling for some amazing prizes at the end of the season! Your are welcome to bring in drinks and food, but please no glass bottles. If you bring a helmet you can ask for rides in the drivers cars on track, which is always lots of fun. Food will be sold on site by Valino at their booth in the pits. We are excited to see you there! There will be a car show provided by Just Vibes as well as food vendors, and we will be announcing a musical performer in the evening on Saturday as track closes.
Cost:
Spectators and crew: $30 for the whole weekend
Drivers: $150 for one day, $250 for full weekend. All competition drivers must purchases a 2 day pass to compete.
All registration is paid at the gate.
Schedule:
Saturday
11 am gates open to drifters
11 am tech inspection opens
12:45 pm tech inspection closes
1 pm mandatory drivers meeting and competition meeting/signing
2 pm track goes hot
5 pm TXSL comp starts, Track 1 stays open for practice without stopping so no one loses track time during comp with open drifting.
8 pm track closes
Sunday
11 am gates open to drifters
11 am tech inspection
12:45 pm tech inspection closes
1 pm mandatory drivers meeting and competition meeting/signing
2 pm track goes hot
4:30 pm Proam comp starts
8 pm track closes
