Start the new year with a low key, simple creative practice.
Gray: Minimalist Watercolor Workshop for Beginners is an in-person, task and technique-focused class where you’ll learn watercolor basics.
The Little Fox has taken care of the color choices, eliminated complicated subject matter, and relieved you from any pressure — your only task is to engage with approachable exercises, tiny, individualized exploration with water, paint, paper and a brush.
We’ll work small, explore the full range of Payne’s Gray, and learn how water and pigment interact on quality paper. Every technique builds toward a tiny final piece shaped from your favorite strokes, washes, and textures.

The artist behind Little Fox Watercolors: Nicole Blais
Nicole (she/her) is a self-taught, neurodivergent watercolorist, graduate student, and registered nurse whose personal creative practice rewards curiosity and finds inspiration in what is uniquely imperfect.
When she isn’t painting tiny, minimalist watercolors, she reclaims and reimagines salvaged materials into wearable, recycled art — giving new life to what’s been cast away.
Through both watercolor and her Little Fox pieces, she celebrates the resilience of reforged art — an artist for survivors, seekers, creatives, and other souls who have left the path of healing a little prettier (and a lot louder) than they found it.
