Create Clay Ghosts

This beginner-friendly class introduces students to clay handbuilding techniques, with step-by-step guidance to create clay ghosts. Participants will learn fundamental techniques such as shaping, texturing, and adding decorative details to complete their pieces. Participants will be informed when their creations are ready for pickup, approximately 4-6 weeks after the class.

About the Instructor
Brittany Irwin is a Chicago native. She moved to Clinton, TN with her family in 2002. She has participated in different types of art forms most of her life but fell in love with pottery after taking a class at the AACC in 2022, and that is where her passion for ceramics was born. Coming from being a stay-at-home mom, pottery became very therapeutic for her, a way to unwind at the end of a long day. “Seeing the process of ceramics, from start to finish is so beautiful. I love it!” She is so happy to be teaching and hopefully passing on her love for pottery to her students.
