Practice will be held Mondays and Wednesdays at King Louie's Beach Volleyball
New To Beach Players 13 and Under will practice 4:15-5:45
Intermediate/Elite 6:00-7:30pm
If Registrations are on the High Side there might be a third practice added with our Elite Practice moving to 7:30-9
Monday/Wednesday Practice Dates:
June 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th,16th,18th, 23rd, 25th, 30th
July 2nd, 7th, 9th,14th, 16th, 21st, 23rd
Beginner- new to the game of beach volleyball with indoor/beach experience, players must possess basic passing/volleyball skills to participate. Beach Doubles is Advanced, these practices are not the place to begin learning the game of volleyball. please Call Mike before signing up if your child has no prior organized volleyball experience.
Intermediate- minimum 3 years experience indoor/beach can play beach volleyball play at a competitive level. If you have no prior beach training you are considered a Beginner. Please call Mike for any exceptions.
Elite- Travel level player, can compete at national events
Session cost is $350. Registration is for individual players, if you have a partner, that is great and we welcome pairs. Each must register separately. All players will have the opportunity to play with different partners at every practice.
For all first time players you are required to purchase a Molten USA Beach Volleyball. Players must bring this ball to each practice. The ball can be purchased on the first day of practice using credit card or cash for $50 plus tax paid to our concession stand. Players can also purchase the ball on Amazon, model # BV5000-3 USA Beach Volleyball.
Our twice weekly program is designed to train the Beach Volleyball Athlete for Doubles Play. Practices consist of drill and skill work followed by scrimmage.
Our Goal at Louisville Beach is to teach, coach, and train players to excel at the sport of Doubles Beach Volleyball. We coach our players on the three main aspects of the game: technical playing skills, the mental aspects of the game and physical conditioning.
