Lawn Care 101 Class

Learn how to plant a lawn in Alaska and how to maintain your lawn all season long. Our instructor will show you the best practices for growing and maintaining a healthy green lawn. We discuss fertilizer, when to apply it, and what type to use. Also, instructions on growing a new lawn, patching thin or damaged areas, and controlling weeds and moss. Cost: $25

The classroom is located down the street from the retail store on the corner of First Ave and Post Rd. Look for the class banner out front. The address is 1301 E First Ave. There is limited parking, so you may need to park at the retail store and walk down.
