HUGSS Back to School JAM

Helping Us Give School Supplies is a back to school jam event that provides essential school supplies and backpacks to ASD students, helping them start the year confident, prepared and ready to learn.

This year, our goal is to distribute 5,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to ASD students.

Open to all ASD students and families.

School supplies offered: backpacks, pencils, erasers, pens, scissors, glue, markers, colored pencils, crayons, composition books, loose leaf paper, folders and more.

Free parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Transportation is available.

Free food will be provided: hotdogs, chips and drinks.

This free event for ASD families is sponsored by the Anchorage School District and the Alaska Coalition of BIPOC Educators.
