Esperanza: Classical Songs of Hope and Inspiration

Let beautiful music sung by esteemed performers draw you into an inspiring and moving experience. The UAA Department of Music invites you to a recital of rarely performed but stunning repertoire of art songs, trios and quartets. Nancy Caudill (mezzo), Mari Hahn (soprano), Stasia Jamieson (soprano), Brewster Jamieson (bass) and Janet Carr-Campbell (piano) perform songs of hope, vision and resilience. . Featured composers include Johannes Brahms, Carlos Guastavino, Imant Raminsh, Robert Schumann, Richard Strauss, Joaquín Turina and Camille Saint-Saëns.
