About the event

Crochet basics: potholder
Crochet is another super portable hobby you can take with you anywhere! All you need is a hook and yarn. Join our into to crochet class and open a whole new world of creative possibilities.

During this class, you will be guided through the following steps to create your potholder:

1. Learn how to hold the crochet hook and yarn.

2. Practice making a slipknot.

3. Start with a foundation chain.

4. Learn basic crochet stitches such as single crochet and double crochet.

5. Practice stitching rows and/or work in the round to create a potholder or wash cloth.

By the end of the session, you will have the knowledge of basic crochet skills to continue your crafting journey at home.
