The Anchorage Park Foundation is excited to announce that the 2026 Community Challenge Grant Program is now open!
We are seeking proposals from community organizations, neighborhood groups, schools, and other local partners for community-led projects that improve parks, trails, greenbelts, and recreation centers in the Anchorage Bowl, Eagle River, and Girdwood. Projects must benefit public land and include meaningful community involvement.
Join us at a workshop to share your idea with Parks and Recreation and landscape architects from the Alaska Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
