About the event

Canning Meat, Fish, and Soups Workshop
Healthy, home-canned meat, fish, and soups from the wild or from the store save time, money and mealtime hassles. In this class, Health, Home and Family Development Agent Sarah Lewis will teach people of all experience levels how to easily and safely pressure can food for the pantry shelves.

Space is limited and registration is required. A $30 cancellation fee applies to all cancellations; no refunds given to cancellations requested within 2 business day of the workshop. The class will be canceled in case of heavy snowfall and the full registration fee returned.

In partnership between UAF Cooperative Extension Service, Seed Lab and BLM Campbell Creek Science Center.
