Anchorage Weekly Road Rides

Summer is here, and that means it’s time to saddle up and hit the pavement!

Introducing The Anchorage weekly road rides 🚲. The goal for this ride is to introduce a re-occurring weekly road bike ride in Anchorage.

Something that roadies can rely on every weekend to take place.

We need ride leads.

🗓 Repeats every weekend at 9AM on Saturday.

📍 Anchorage, AK
☀️ Rain or shine – we’re riding. This is Alaska.
🚴‍♂️ Road bikes or gravel bikes recommended for pacing purposes.

Meet at 9 AM at Bartlett Student Parking lot: 1101 Golden Bear Dr, Anchorage, AK 99504 ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/Xm2YhVCWeZGhKYoX8)

Short route: Bartlett parking lott --> Glenn hwy bike path --> VFW road --> Jitters (~9 miles one way) —> return. Optional to stop at Jitters before heading back to Bartlett High.

Optional long route: Extension to Eagle Nature center
