Adult Art Class: Alaskan Wildflower Sumie Painting with Hana Wilcoxson

Explore the elegant art of Sumie, traditional Japanese ink wash painting, in this hands-on class with artist Hana Wilcoxson. Learn what makes Sumie unique, practice the meditative process of grinding ink, and create your own Alaska wildflower-inspired artwork. Add a personal touch by signing your name in Japanese characters—and, if inspired, include a short poem alongside your piece.
