What is ACT Late Nite?
Well, we aren’t exactly sure yet either, and that’s part of the fun. But here’s what we’re going for: It’s ACT… after hours. ACT Late Nite plays dive headfirst into the gritty world of 1970s exploitation cinema—those wild, low-budget cult flicks known for their over-the-top characters, chaotic energy, and let’s-just-say questionable moral compasses. With the debut of Games of Life and Death, local playwright Richard Fulton brings that midnight movie madness to the stage, complete with jaw-dropping plot twists, dark humor, and a whole lot of fake blood… we think it’s fake, anyway.
This show isn’t polished. It’s not family-friendly. And it’s definitely not what you’d expect from ACT (unless you’ve been to our comedy nights).
