7th Annual Pride Block Party

The 7th Annual Pride Block Party is happening Saturday June 28th from noon to 7pm at the Writer’s Block Bookstore & Cafe. 3956 Spenard Rd, Anchorage, AK 99517.

This year we have DJ Ms. Mixx, Anetttie Confettie and DESMONATION ... three of the hottest queer DJ’s in Alaska spinning nothing but good vibes. We have the dynamic M.C. MoHagani Magnetek as our hostess doing the mostest to keep the crowd hyped up. We got some fresh BIPOC Queer artist vendor/booths with all kinds of arts and crafts for purchase. Delicious food and refreshing drinks will be sold by the Writer’s Block Bookstore & Cafe so there’s nothing else for you to do but show up and celebrate Pride 2025. It’s an easygoing community affair that’s totally free to attend and family friendly.

This is event is a collaborative effort presented by members and allies of Anchorage’s LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities with sponsorships from Queer Happenings Alaska and Edutainment Nite Publishing and The Writer’s Block Bookstore & Cafe.
