Paint N' Sip With a Catholic Twist- Exaltation of the Holy Cross

This Painting Social is unlike any you may have done before. Envisioned by Theresa Zepeda in 2021, she creates all the seasonal paintings from scratch, and will walk you through step by step instruction to recreate your very own version. Each painting is tied to the liturgical calendar, bringing a fresh new way of expression and celebration for popular Feasts and Soleminities throughout the year.

In this painting titled Exaltation of the Holy Cross, we will recreate this symbolic painting that commemorates the finding of the True Cross, and celebrates the instrument of our salvation. The bright green background and floral notes make this a brighter take on the Crucifixion. The finished painting is yours to keep, so you may take home and display with joy, in celebration of this great Feast held on September 14th.

With the sudden closure of Ruby's Diner, we have to move the venue to our Catholic Gift Shop just across the street! Now food is included!

Arrive by 5:45 pm, and enjoy some Pizza, sponsored by Pizza Factory (included with your ticket price). You are also now able to bring your own beverage of Choice! Beer and Wine are welcomed!

The painting process is up to two hours long, and all painting supplies are provided. Plus, the finished painting is yours to keep or give to a special person!
