Platinum Street Jazz is a 2 to 10 musician ensemble, performing together throughout Southwest Montana since 2005. Our core group of upright bass, guitar, keyboard, percussion, and voice has played for NYE soirees at the Finlen Hotel, Empty Bowls fundraising dinners, Uptown Butte Artwalk, Discover Deer Lodge, Ability Montana, the Butte Symphony receptions, and for dancers and jazz lovers at various Elks Lodges, bars, and private events.
In support of Butte's thriving social dance community, we have tailored most of our songs to be perfect for various styles of dancing: Latin, tango, country 2-step, swing, waltz, and even line dancing! We play golden oldies, jazz standards, showtunes, top hits and deep cuts from the ‘30s to the ’70s, and are always adding new music and requests to our repertoire. www.PlatinumStreetJazz.com
