Gunung Nuang via Pangsun (Peak1493m)
is the 86th highest peak in Malaysia but is a gruelling and strenuous hike of 10-12 hours on total of 20km (1 way is 10km).
The Pangsun route requires a very long walk, a test of endurance and tough but definitely an enjoyable with one of the great experience before several streams crossing and a killer climb. The view at the top – lush and green, and that mountain air – clean.
One should be very physical and mentally be prepared for this gruelling and strenuous hike and is a good training ground for people who are seeking to climb higher mountains like Kota Kinabalu, Mount Semeru, Mount Kerinci and Mountains in Nepal
