Harp in the Hills

I am excited to be able to offer this unique opportunity to take a relaxed 8km walk in the company of harpist Delyth Jenkins.

Delyth is one of Wales' leading celtic harpists and has written a book about her experience of walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path with her travel harp, giving impromptu path-side performances.

She is a gifted player and story-teller and we have joined forces to offer this opportunity to hear her play in the ancient landscape of Garn Goch, near Llandeilo.

The walk will be a slow paced meander across the fort, one of the largest in Wales, then an ascent to the surrounding greenways, overlooking the Tywi Valley. It's a beautiful. quiet walk.

We will stop to several times, for some stories and harp playing, so the walk will take several hours. There are quite a few stiles and hills and you will need to have moderate fitness level. If you are unsure just ask.

The event is £40 per person and will be advertised widely so please book early to avoid disappointment.
