TSB Jazz: “The Great Jazz Composers"

TSB Jazz is honored to return to Amherst Java & Jazz May 24, 2025, at the Amherst County Museum and Historical Society Hamble Center (Located in back of main museum building, 154 South Main Street, Amherst, VA 24521). They will present the music of Great Jazz Composers such as Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk and Wayne Shorter. They will also play original compositions by group members Bob Bowen on the contrabass; Lew Taylor on keyboards and vocals; and local percussion legend Larry Scott, a prominent presence on the Central Virginia music scene for many years.

Due to a scheduling conflict at Second Stage | Amherst, the May Amherst Java & Jazz has been moved from Second Stage | Amherst to the Hamble Center of the Amherst County Museum. Free coffee, soda or water will still be available with ticket but there will be no food for purchase.
