On Friday, October 24, 2025 at 7:30 pm at Trinity-St. Stephen’s United Church in Amherst, Music at Trinity is pleased to host the Symphony Nova Scotia Baroque Orchestra presenting a concert titled “Bach and Friends”.
Principal Baroque Leader Julia Wedman and Symphony Nova Scotia will honour Bach’s friends with music by Telemann, Pachelbel and others. And of course the orchestra will also play several of Bach’s own works including the familiar “Air on a G String” and his mighty creation, “Concerto for Three Violins”.
Symphony Nova Scotia is our very own provincial orchestra. Once again we are delighted to welcome back to our community these distinguished musicians and their dynamic leader.
Advance tickets @ $20 are now on sale. Tickets at the door @ $25. To purchase tickets in advance, please call the Trinity-Stephen’s United Church office at (902) 667-8483. Visa and MasterCard accepted. Your tickets will be held for you at the door. Tickets can also be purchased by visiting the church office at 1 Ratchford Street in Amherst during weekday business hours from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. The advance ticket price will end at 4:00 pm on the day of the performance.
To encourage the interest and attendance of young musicians, children and youth over the age of 7 and under 18 are welcomed free-of-charge to Music at Trinity concerts when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
