CAMMAC Scottish Country Dance Retreat

The CAMMAC Scottish Country Dance Retreat is back for its second year! We invite you to a weekend getaway, immersing yourself in Scottish Country Dancing and the great outdoors. Get ready to dance, unwind, and meet friends new and old at the CAMMAC Music Centre situated on the picturesque shores of Lake MacDonald in Harrington, QC. When not in class, play tennis, swim, canoe, or go for a hike!

We will be joined by three exciting teachers this year—Andrew Nolan (UK), Tristan Gerrie (Canada), and Robert McOwen (USA)—as well as local favourites, the Atlantic Firth Scottish Country Dance Band.

The weekend is all-inclusive, with all meals, classes, and accommodation included in the registration fee. Non-dancer rates are available. Dancers will participate in a minimum of three level-specific classes as well combined classes and a Gala Dance on Saturday night. Optional dancing and non-dancing sessions will be offered on Saturday afternoon, and teachers, instructors, and CTI/teacher candidates will have the option of participating in a teachers’ class on Sunday morning. As an added bonus, Atlantic Firth will perform a concert Sunday afternoon, giving everyone a chance to rest their feet before heading home.
