Kicking off this inaugural event is the mesmerizing Bossa Jazz Trio, a group of jazz musicians bringing the rich rhythms of Latin American and Spanish music straight to our stage. Featuring the masterful John Tavano on classical guitar, Al Whitney on jazz guitar, and Roger Kimball on bass & cello, this trio will transport you to another world with their seamless blend of melody and rhythm.

And for one night only, the Bossa Jazz Trio is elevating the experience with a special guest—percussionist Derek Hayden.

With a background from the Boston Conservatory of Music, John Tavano’s artistry spans Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Flamenco, Jazz, and Bossa Nova, making this performance a journey through time and sound. As esteemed instructors at Zach Field Drums & Music, John Tavano and Derek Hayden represent the world-class musicians who inspire our students every day.
