Are you ready to grow your own delicious vegetables — even with limited space and zero experience?
Join us at Where Inspiration Blooms for a hands-on, beginner-friendly **Grow Your Own Vegetables Workshop** — a practical and inspiring 3-hour session designed to get you confidently growing at home right away.
We’re delighted to welcome back Ross Haynes, who runs the beautiful and highly productive Walled Garden at the neighbouring Penn Estate. With years of real-world growing experience, Ross shares clear, achievable methods perfectly suited to home gardeners and small spaces.
You’ll start at The Pavilion with tea and homemade cake while learning the essentials of successful veg growing — including what to sow now, simple windowsill methods, and how to grow with or without specialist equipment. Then get stuck in sowing seeds and potting on young plants yourself.
We’ll also take a short scenic walk to the Estate’s Walled Garden, where Ross will demonstrate seed bed preparation, soil care, no-dig techniques, and direct sowing — plus share what’s growing well this season and which varieties are most reliable for home plots.
Back at the Pavilion, you’ll learn how to maximise small growing spaces and create your own personalised “Grow Your Own” plan focused on your top five crops.
**All materials are included**, and everyone leaves with planted seed modules and young vegetable plants to grow on at home — plus plenty of tips and confidence to keep going.
Enjoy great company, expert guidance, and plenty of tea and cake from local favourites Two Spoons — with options for all dietary needs.
Come plant the seeds for a more productive, homegrown season with us.
