Earlier this year, we started running relaxed but super-helpful sewing workshops after lots of requests for a short course covering the absolute basics—and every single one has sold out! 🎉
So we’re thrilled to be bringing back our 2-Week Basic Sewing Course, created in collaboration with the brilliant Sam Slator from The Sewing Loft, Chesham.
Over two evenings, Sam will walk you through simple sewing techniques that will set you up for success with all your future projects.
🧵 You’ll learn (not necessarily in this order!):
• Threading your sewing machine
• Winding bobbins
• Sewing machine feet & their uses
• Using different stitches
• Buttonholes
• Seams
• Essential tools & equipment
Sam will also answer those burning questions like “What’s the point of all these different feet?” or “How on earth do I sew in a straight line?” 🙌

📌 What to bring:
• Your sewing machine (if you don’t have one, don’t worry – we have some spares so please do get in touch—limited spares available, first come first served)
• A basic sewing kit: thread, scissors, and pins
We’ll provide all other materials and will contact you after booking to check your machine details and make sure you’ve got everything you need.
