Recovery is Real—And Worth Celebrating
Middle Flint Health and Wellness’ Peer Support Program, New Life ARSC, is thrilled to announce its participation in this year’s Georgia Recovery Bus Tour—a powerful, statewide initiative celebrating mental health and substance use recovery. In partnership with Cornerstone Church, Celebrate Recovery, and the Georgia Council for Recovery, New Life will host a Celebration Stop in Americus on September 28, 2025 at Cornerstone Church, 245 Southland Rd, Americus, GA 31709 at 12:30 -3:00 pm.
This free, community-wide event will shine a light on the strength, resilience, and hope that define the recovery journey. Featuring live entertainment, free food, and uplifting fellowship, the Americus stop invites hundreds of community members to gather in celebration of faith, healing, hope and joy with the shared belief that Recovery is Real.
A Statewide Movement, A Local Celebration
The Georgia Recovery Bus Tour—launched in partnership with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities—is traveling across the state to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and connect individuals with vital recovery resources. The Georgia Recovers Bus will be present at each tour stop, delivering convenient access to information, services, and support.
