What parts of you are waiting to be seen?
Beyond the Shadow is a five-month journey into the depths of the self: a supportive, nonjudgmental space for exploring the hidden, unpolished, and often misunderstood aspects of who we are. Through guided reflection, embodied practice, and community connection, we’ll learn to meet our shadow — the parts of ourselves we tend to reject, avoid, or hide — with compassion and curiosity.
Under the expert guidance of Candace Stevens, LPC, , we’ll explore what our emotions, fears, and defenses might be trying to teach us. We’ll shine light on the unconscious forces that shape our behavior and beliefs, and discover what becomes possible when we stop turning away from what feels uncomfortable.
In this series, we’ll explore:
★ The nature of the shadow + the foundations of shadow work
★ The parts of ourselves we hide from others — and from ourselves
★ Triggers and what lies beneath them
★ Our defense mechanisms and how they protect (and limit) us
★ The relationship between emotions, thoughts, and reality
★ Grounding and self-kindness practices to support integration
★ A variety of tools to empower our lived experience such as but not limited to self-development and intuitive movement, intention setting, journaling, art, meditation, tarot/oracle cards and meaningful community conversations.
Program includes but is not limited to:
★ A grounding, introductory session to establish safety and presence before going deeper as a group.
★ Lessons and prompts on topics such as emotions, defenses, thoughts, and the unconscious mind
★ Embodied and expressive practices to help release and transform energy
★ A supportive community of peers also committed to their own inner work
★ A 20-minute individual session with Candace for personalized guidance (via phone/video call)
★ Ongoing community support and connection through a dedicated Voxer group, providing a space to share insights, ask questions, and stay engaged between sessions.
Beyond the Shadow invites you to turn toward what has long been hidden, to discover the wholeness waiting to be reclaimed and to move through your life with courage, compassion, and clarity.

INVESTMENT: $275 / Early Bird Save $50 by December 25
SPECIAL NOTE: This program does not include a traditional yoga practice and it offers a framework for deep self-inquiry, not mental health treatment. Participants should dress comfortably for simple somatic practices and meditations. Participants are encouraged to engage in their own individual therapy alongside this work, and to honor their limits by pausing when needed. The opening session will include guidance on assessing readiness, staying resourced, and navigating moments of overwhelm with care.
