Randall County 4-H Day Camp

2025 Randall County 4-H Summer Day Camp
• Who: Incoming 3rd-8th graders. You do NOT have to be a member of 4-H to participate.
• What: Hands on activities that will introduce youth to opportunities available to them in the Randall County 4-H program.
o Project Focus:
 STEM (Rocketry and Aerospace) – Kevin and Cheryl Morris / Genevieve Cruickshank
• 1 hour lesson that includes them launching 5 different rockets)
 Sportfishing
• Possibly baiting a line and casting into hula hoops.
 Fashion & Interior Design
• Duds style activity
 Food & Nutrition
 Archery
 Vet Science

• When: Thursday, July 17 (1-6 pm)
• Where: Randall County Event Center (1111 S. Loop 335, Amarillo)
• Why: Come learn what ELSE you can do in 4-H! You’ll learn all about different FUN and EXCITING project areas that you can become involved in during the next 4-H year!
• Cost: $25/kid

Special Notes:
• Capping registration at the first 90 kids!
• Please bring your own refillable water bottle.
• Will provide healthy snacks.
• Each kid needs to submit a health waiver and media release waiver.
• Ask each kid to bring 3 non-perishable items to donate to the Tierra Blanca Food Pantry.
