AMA-CON is Amarillo's original pop culture convention, a celebration of comics, anime, gaming, and everything else that is geeky and awesome!
At AMA-CON, you will find things to see, things to do, and things to learn. All funds raised through AMA-CON support Friends of the Amarillo Public Library!
Admission to AMA-CON is $8 for a one-day pass and $10 for a two-day pass. Children 6 years old and under are admitted free of charge. At those prices, AMA-CON is one of the most affordable, family-friendly entertainment options available anywhere!
AMA-CON runs from 11 AM to 7 PM on Saturday, August 2, followed by the Geek Prom (included with admission) from 7:15 to 8:30. On Sunday, August 3, AMA-CON is open from noon to 6 PM.
AMA-CON features FIVE different Cosplay contests, dozens of vendors selling everything from comics to steampunk jewelry, gaming tournaments and free play, art, music, authors, voiceover artists, and more! Come EXPLORE the AWESOMENESS!
