Help shape Alvin’s next 20 years!
Alvin is nearing the finish line on a new Comprehensive Plan—a visionary roadmap for growth, investment, and city priorities through 2045. This plan will guide decisions on housing, infrastructure, trails and parks, streets and safety, land use, historic preservation, and City services.
At this Final Open House, you’ll get a first look at the draft goals, strategies, and maps—and a chance to weigh in on what should come first. A hands-on prioritization activity will allow you to directly rank which projects and policies should be tackled right away and which should be planned for the future.
What you’ll see:

✔️ A resident-led prioritization activity
What happens next:
Your feedback from this event will shape the final refinements before City Council considers adoption. A public meeting on November 20, 2025 will include public comment and a vote on adoption of the Comprehensive Plan.
