Mark your calendars! The Great Alvin Clean-Up is back on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This community-wide event is your chance to dispose of unwanted items responsibly and help keep Alvin clean and beautiful.
Who Can Participate:
This event is for City of Alvin residents only. Proof of Alvin residency is required (please bring a driver’s license or utility bill).
Accepted Items:
-Bulk trash
-Furniture
-Old appliances
-Batteries
-Electronics
-Small car or light truck tires
On-Site Paper Shredding:
Secure document shredding will be available—an easy and safe way to get rid of paperwork with sensitive information.
Items NOT Accepted:
-Rocks, dirt, mulch, fertilizer
-Tires, motor oil, gasoline
-Tiles, bricks, concrete
-Pesticides
-Medical waste
-Cooking oil
-Pool chemicals
-Liquid paint (dried acrylic paint will be accepted)
