Join us for the 5th Annual We Give A RAM Kentucky Derby Party on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Copper Creek Golf Club!
Signature cocktail specials, heavy appetizers throughout the evening, live music by Brian Congdon, hobby horse racing, lawn games, derby hat parade and costume contest, the famous "Hold Your Horses" game, silent auction, late night DJ karaoke, THE KENTUCKY DERBY, and FUN in the spirit of the SE Polk RAMS!
5:00pm: Cocktail hour featuring the classic Mint Julep, a Kentuckitini, or an Old Fashion. Guests can view and bid on silent auction items, enter the raffle, play Hold Your Horses, take pics with the photo booth, play lawn games, and mingle.
5:45pm: Race Time: Hold on to your hats and gather around the big screen to watch the “most exciting two minutes in sports”! All other event features will pause to view the 2025 Kentucky Derby.
6:00pm: Hobby Horse Race followed by the 2025 Hat Parade. The 2024 Grand Marshall will preside over all events and decide winners with local celebrity judges. Trophies will be given to winners! Dress up and show up!
6:45pm: Short program about Swerve Outreach and its positive impact on local youth.
7pm-10pm: Live music from Brian Congdon, lawn games, and a silent auction.
10pm-12pm: Karaoke until midnight and late-night pizza!
All proceeds will go to the local non-profit Swerve Outreach, which supports our community by providing At-Risk and underserved SE Polk Students with healthy meals; learning, enrichment, and youth sports opportunities; back-to-school supplies, and basic needs assistance.
