Highmark Walk for A Healthy Community-Laurel Highlands

The Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community is an annual fundraising walk that benefits local health and human service nonprofit organizations.

Through 2024, the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community events have raised more than $19.2 million for 560+ health & human service nonprofit organizations.

The primary goal of the walk is to help participating organizations raise money for their individual missions. One hundred percent of the funds raised through this event go directly back to the participating organizations, as Highmark underwrites all the associated costs of the event.

The walk activities are in collaboration with Healthy Blair County's "Let's Move" event. The walk route will take walkers through the park.

Walk Day Schedule:
10:40 AM: Walker Registration Begins (for people who did not register prior to walk day)
11:00 AM: Opening Ceremony
11:15 AM: 5K Walk Begins
11:20 AM: 1Mile Fun Walk Begins
1:30 PM: Event Concludes
