The Wedge + SIUE Partner Showcase

The SIU System Office of Community Engagement (OCE) is proud to announce a $1.5 million grant from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) to launch two regional incubators – one in Alton and one in East St. Louis.

The Alton incubator will be located within The Wedge.

These incubators will strengthen the capacity of Metro East communities to compete for and deliver clean energy and energy efficiency contracts. This initiative will:

✅ Create new jobs
✅ Expand clean energy building projects in Southwestern Illinois
