The Alton Business Association is excited to host the 2025 Alton Old Home Day Parade on Saturday, August 9th at 11:30 am!
The parade will begin at Alton Central School (Parent Pick-up loop at the rear), travel down Letter S Road, and finish in Alton Bay. This year’s route is approximately one mile long, designed to be more accessible for walking participants and less disruptive to local roads and businesses. New for 2025: Join the Parade from Jones Field (walkers only) If you're walking and prefer to join the parade midway, you're encouraged to assemble at Jones Field. As floats pass by, walkers can seamlessly join from that location. This flexible option is perfect for families with small children, those looking for a shorter walk, or anyone wanting to connect with a specific float.
We invite you to get creative and build a float, drive a prized car or stroll along with us! This is a great opportunity to join together in a family fun event! It’s also a great opportunity to engage in a business or organization team morale booster too (while also promoting your business and organization)!
Registration and participation are FREE! Volunteers are always welcome and NEEDED to assist the morning of parade!
We can't wait to see all the creative FLOATS this year, but we will NOT be judging them or having a contest... Just good ole' fun and encouraging others to share their community SPIRIT!
