All About Bees

Master Beekeeper Debra DeWitt has kept bees since 2018 and maintains colonies at her home in Atlanta, throughout GA and in NC. She is an active member of the Tara and Metro Atlanta Beekeepers Associations, where she has held officer and board positions. Plus helping to mold new beekeepers, she teaches at a school a Decatur, in her local community gardens, and in the Georgia Beekeepers Association (GBA) prison program.

Come enjoy this educational talk on her conservation efforts and learn about how you too can help our local bee population! There will be show and tell items, including a live hive – see if you can spot the queen! Plus, there will be locally made honey to sample and buy at the end of her fascinating program!
