Cernat’s Carnival

Join us at the bandshell park for an afternoon of family fun! Homemade carnival games, relay races, eating contests, prizes and games for all ages! As well as a bake sale, pizza by the slice, drinks and popcorn!

The staff at Sunrise Veterinary Services, here in Alpena, is putting on this afternoon of good old fashioned fun to benefit one of our own. Many of you know our Customer Service Manager Tammi Cernat, although that title no where near encompasses Tammi’s role in the clinic. From doing her best to ensure a positive experience for thousands of customers at our clinic, she also goes out of her way to make the staff feel as comfortable and appreciated as she can. While at a convention in Florida earlier this year Tammi experienced a medical emergency that required a hospital stay and emergency surgery. She pushed through and even came back to work a bit too early! She is now heading into another major abdominal surgery with another hospital stay and a prolonged period off work to heal. Through this event we hope to show Tammi how much she means to our little community as well as raise funds to ease the burden of medical expenses and lost wages.
