We are planting an edible hedge in the Community Orchard, and need lots of helping hands to make it happen 🙏 🙏
We’ll be planting 385 trees over 65 metres, creating a living hedge that will benefit wildlife, support biodiversity, and provide fruit and interest for years to come. No planting experience is needed, just a willingness to get involved and enjoy being outdoors together.
This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, and children to take part in a practical community project and help shape the future of the Orchard.
After the planting, everyone is invited to the Community Centre for soup and cake, kindly served by the WI, a chance to warm up and catch up. 🍰 🍲
Please wear or bring sturdy shoes, gloves, and a spade if you have one.
