A dam fine evening of beavers

The Wilder Northumberland team invites you to an evening all about beavers at The Alnwick Playhouse on Tuesday 17th June 2025.

We will be showing the Beaver Trust film, 'Balancing the Scales', narrated by Joanna Lumley, which explores the delicate balance between beaver restoration and the conservation of migratory fish populations, revealing the opportunities beavers create and the unique challenges they introduce in our modern landscapes.

Join Beaver Trust CEO Sandra King, Northumberland Wildlife Trust's Wilder Northumberland team, and staff from National Trust's Wallington Estate for a series of short presentations and a question and answer session.

Arrival is from 6pm, with the event starting at 6:30pm and finishing at 8:30pm.
