Fire in the Shire

Visit Alma, Wisconsin on Saturday, June 7th for Castlerock Museum’s annual Fire in the Shire event, a citywide celebration of all things medieval.

Events at the Castle will run from 10am-4pm. Returning groups include Kazimir the Hungry (fire breathing and sword swallowing), the Wisconsin Historical Fencing Association (fighting demos), Clann Tartan (Pike and Musket demos), A Life Medieval (reenactors), and Bardmageddon (medieval music). One Eye Dave’s Hotdogs will provide concessions.

Visitors interested in searching for the fabled “Holy Grail” in the shops of the shire can enter a drawing to win the treasured artifact along with $100 Alma Dollars. Stay tuned for a list of participating businesses.
