The session will be presented by Dr Judi Newman, Director and Founder of The Academy of Organisational Neuroscience, who holds a PhD in Applied Neuroscience. Dr Newman is one of Australia’s leading experts in social cognitive neuroscience. Her unique blend of experience in education, psychology and neuroscience, combined with her background as a brain-based executive coach and former high school principal , allows her to translate complex brain research into practical strategies for learning, motivation and decision making.
Her passion lies in helping parents, educators and leaders understand optimum brain function, with a focus on:
- understanding the brain and its development,
- optimal conditions for learning,
- strengthening leadership attributes and influence,
- developing ownership, self-efficacy and accountability,
- refining decision-making, and
- building strong, high-performing teams.
