Our first Beginner’s Level Mahjong Workshop was a success, so we’re already back by popular demand and will be holding monthly Mahjong Workshops as we go along.
Our next Mahjong Workshop is Saturday, August 16th!
If you are a beginner player, you will learn the basics of this beloved Chinese tile game, including rules and strategies. Each table will have four players and one instructor, who will explain the game and guide your table throughout gameplay. You are welcome to come alone or with a group, but be prepared to team up in groups of 4.
If you are a returning player, you will be placed at the experienced players' tables, but you will still have access to an instructor.
Chinese tea and snacks will be offered during play.
What: Monthly Mahjong Series: August Mahjong Workshop
Date & Time: Saturday, August 16th, 2:00 PM-5:00 PM.
Location: Chinese Community Center, 9800 Town Park Drive, Houston, TX 77036
Ticket: $35/Adult, $20/Youth 12 years old & up
*Note:* Registered youth participants are required to be with their parents. CCC requires that a minimum of 8 people are in attendance or class is canceled and ticket is refunded.
